EV-2 and EV-3 Metering Pumps
The EV-2 and EV-3 metering pumps feature a special, heavy-duty design
capable of handling all of your high-pressure chemical, viscous and slurry
services. Features include a sealless, single-flat diaphragm and simplex,
duplex or multiplex feeds. A variety of metallic and non-metallic liquid
end cartridge materials are also available.
Operating Specifications
- Flow range: 14 gph (53 l/h) to 2,000 gph (7,570 l/h) with independent
flow control for each feed
- Pressure range: to 3500 psig (241 bar)
- Maximum temperatures:
Metallic to 250°F (121°C)
Non-metallic to 150°F (66°C)
- Steady state: ± 0.5% of flow setting
- Linearity: ± 1% of full flow
- Repeatability: ± 2% of full flow
- Turn down ratio: 10:1 (optional 100:1)
Options
- Flat double diaphragm with three levels of DURAlert leak detection.
- DURAmatic electronic actuation.
- Variable speed drive.
Drivecase Cartridge
- Amplitude modulation design offers smoother flow transfer at lower
stroke settings, especially in high-pressure/high-flow services.
- Two drivecase sizes of identical design.
- Multiplexing allows as many as eight feeds with one motor.
- Fully isolated drivecase provides superior bearing and gearset life.
- Maximum power transfer provides efficient operation.
- Accepts standard four-pole squirrel cage induction motors.

Stroke Adjuster Cartridge
- Spin handle, 0% to 100% digital readout manual stroke adjustment.
- Available with DURAmatic electronic stroke control.
Hydraulic Cartridge
- Utilizes enhanced Evolution Series hydraulic system for superior resistance
to system and operational upset. Multiple fluids handling capability
and long, trouble-free service.
- Eight EV-2 plunger sizes with 1-3/8" (35 mm) stroke length; eleven
EV-3 plunger sizes with 2" (51 mm) stroke length.
- Hydraulic plunger seal offers better process control through improved
accuracy, especially at low stroke settings.
- Integral air bleed valve assures accuracy by venting captured air.
Internal porting eliminates potential oil leakage.
- Mechanical refill valve provides excellent suction lift capability.
Pumps high vapor pressure liquids without modification to existing systems.
Liquid End Cartridge
- Hydraulically balanced single diaphragm design, without process side
contour plate, permits use in almost any service condition.
- Pumping action is developed by positive sealing ball check valves.
- Optional check valve arrangements (double ball, soft or hardened seats)
for special applications.
- Handles viscous or slurry streams with low-cost, single diaphragm.
- Offset check valves eliminate "settling in" operations and maintenance
problems.
- Flow-through porting positively vents all air from liquid end upon
start-up or when pumping air-entrained materials.
- Check valve assembly may be rebuilt for economical maintenance.
- Standard wet end materials include 316SS, Alloy 20, Hastelloy®,
PVC and Kynar®. Most machineable metallic and non-metallic materials
are available.
