EVA Metering Pumps

New EVA

EVA Schematic The newest addition to the EV Series, EVA metering pumps offer a cost-effective and long-term alternative to disposable solenoid pumps. With four independent, interchangeable cartridges, EVA brings all of the advantages of EV Series pumps into a pump with a small, space-saving footprint.

It is ideal for a wide range of applications where low flow ranges are desired when handling clear, slurry or viscous process fluids.

Operating Specifications

  • Flow range: .08 gph (.30 l/h) to 30 gph (114 l/h)
  • Pressure range: to 3500 psig (241 bar)
  • Maximum temperatures:
    Metallic to 250°F (121°C)
    Non-metallic to 150°F (66°C)
  • Steady state: ± 0.5% of flow setting
  • Linearity: ± 1% of full flow
  • Repeatability: ± 2% of full flow
  • Turn down ratio: 10:1 (optional 100:1)
  • Footprint: 3-5/8" x 7-1/16" (9 x 18 cm)
  • Weight: 29 lbs. (13.2 kg)

Options

  • DURAmatic electronic actuation
  • Three levels of DURAlert leak detection:
    1. Gauge leak detection
    2. Pressure switch leak detection
    3. Optic sensor leak detection
  • EV-Ready spare parts kit
  • Variable speed drive

Drivecase Cartridge

  • A two-part epoxy-coated, cast iron drivecase covers the entire hydraulic range.
  • Accepts NEMA 56C frame motors to eliminate alignment problems. IEC motor frames are also available.
  • Heavy-duty construction delivers strength and durability beyond anything found in its class.

Hydraulic Cartridge

  • Reciprocating plunger design features a 3/4" (19mm) stroke length and six interchangeable plunger sizes.
  • Field replaceable, three-part plunger seal.
  • Internal oil filter eliminates any contaminants from entering the pump's hydraulic system.
  • Externally adjustable hydraulic relief valve located at the high point of the hydraulic system incorporates an integral air bleed valve in a relief valve poppet to accurately vent air from the pressurized hydraulic system.
  • Mechanical refill valve provides excellent suction lift capability. Pumps high vapor liquids without modification to existing systems.

Liquid End Cartridge

  • Hydraulically balanced single diaphragm design, without process side contour plate, permits use in almost any service condition.
  • Pumping action is developed by positive sealing ball check valves.
  • Optional check valve arrangements (double ball, soft or hardened seats) for special applications.
  • Check valve assembly may be rebuilt for economical maintenance.
  • Standard wet end materials include 316SS, Alloy 20, Hastelloy®, PVC and Kynar®. Most machineable metallic and non-metallic materials are available.

Stroke Adjuster Cartridge

  • Fully adjustable from 0% to 100% of stroke length.
  • Micrometer stroke setting readout in 1% increments.
  • Easily converted to DURAmatic electronic actuation.
  • Fully sealed to prevent atmospheric contamination or oil leakage.
